Every month we sit down with one of the team here at Anthill HQ, to let you get to know about them, and us, that little bit better.
Today it’s the turn of our Software Developer, Jose!
Q. What is your role?
I´m a software developer so my main focus is making the Anthill product the best it can be!
In the morning, the developers will all jump on a call and discuss the work we’ve been doing and the plans going forward.
After that, we then crack on and code away for the rest of the day.
Q. What was your first job?
My first job was as an optician in an optometry centre here in Madrid.
I worked there for about three years.
Q. What is your proudest moment at Anthill?
It’s difficult to pick a single project but the successful go live for the Zapier integration was probably my proudest moment.
It was my first big task here at Anthill, and I’d never used Zapier before.
Q. What are your goals for the year ahead?
My main goal is to improve my knowledge and delve even deeper into the Anthill application.
Likewise, I’m eager to get involved with some of the upcoming UI updates.
Q. What other organisations do you most admire and why?
I’ve always been a big fan of the underdog.
So I admire the companies that are able to create a great product/idea, foster a loyal fan base and take that success on as they grow.
Q. What are you adding to the Anthill playlist?
It’d have to the the Boss! And the studio version of Growin’ Up.
I prefer the live version but it can get a little long with his midway speech…
