Every month we sit down with one of the team here at Anthill HQ, to let you get to know about them, and us, that little bit better.
Today it’s the turn of our Implementation Manager, Josh!
Q. What is your role?
Here at Anthill I’m an Implementation Manager.
That means I consult with our new and existing customers to understand their needs, business issues and what they are looking to improve.
From here I help them to create their ideal setup to better track their sales process and tie together every aspect of their software stack.
Q. What was your first job?
First up was a paper round followed by working in a butcher’s shop from the age of 13.
At 17, I got my first full time job as an IT technician, mainly looking after store and head office equipment.
From there I then moved into more software focused roles which I have continued to develop over the last decade.
Working in the butchers were much simpler times!
But I’ve always had a major interest in technology and computers. Especially after my brother got me into gaming with our first PC in 2002.
It always made sense for me to pursue a career in the industry.
Q. What is your proudest moment at Anthill?
Although I have only been here a short while my proudest moment so far was delivering my first solution to a customer from start to finish.
It was great to see what the software can do, how it can help their business and how the whole process comes together.
Q. What are your goals for the year ahead?
I am working to improve my industry knowledge of the KBB sector as well as understanding the full capabilities of Anthill.
There is just so much it can do!
I am also looking forward to working with our enterprise customers to improve their current solution, with my main goal this year being to work on a scope from end to end for an enterprise client.
Q. What other organisations do you most admire and why?
The Prince’s Trust is a charity that I have been passionate about for some time.
They work with young people to develop their skills and confidence to find a job or start a business.
It is a great charity to help young people start building their future.
Q. What are you adding to the Anthill playlist?
Anything 80’s!
Everyone loves a good 80’s song and its hard enough to find something that everyone can agree on…
So I think that would be my bet. I love a huge variety of music so its really hard to pick!
